Over the years, Google has shown that it cares particularly about its ChromeOS, releasing periodic and timely updates for your operating system. The one released in the last few hours introduces a couple of interesting featureswith the one for reset certainly attracting our attention.
The ChromeOS operating system is developed for a desktop use and therefore we are used to using it on PCs and notebooks. The update released by Google attempts to facilitate the resolution of security problems which may occur with a certain probability when using a desktop device. The newly released update for ChromeOS refers to the version 131 of the operating system.
The new feature we mentioned is called Safety reset and consists in the possibility of carrying out a reset without actually deleting personal data of users.
In fact, Safety Reset aims to resolve cases in which the Chromebook is affected by security problems, perhaps due to some installed malware or virus. As reported by Google on its support pagefunctionality it won’t touch the data and the app premises, as well as elements such as bookmarks And saved passwords.
