The best tablets on the market are already able to deal with the AAA titlesbut i porting there aren’t very many. So Xiaomi has decided to take the next step: bringing i PC titles directly on your devices.
The project, called 3A Game Virtual Machineis basically an emulator located within the app AI Treasure Boxa tool dedicated to AI features released by the manufacturer.
According to what has been reported, the app would allow you to play in this way fluid to titles and other services thanks to the hardware of tablets, and would only need one peripheral as a keyboard or controller. 3A Game Virtual Machine would already support i titles most common on the market, such as:
- Resident Evil 2 Remake
- Resident Evil 7 Biohazard
- Assassins Creed Revelations
- Tomb Raider – Game of the year edition
- Tomb Raider I-III Remastered
- Overcooked 2
- Counter-Strike 1.6
- Star Craft
The operation is not very clear, as we could only translate the instructions from Chinese using Google Translatebut what is certain is that the tool is currently being developed internal test only for Xiaomi Pad 6s Pro owners (we don’t know if only in China).
However, support for other models will arrive later.
Some selected users would have received a communication from Xiaomi inviting them to register for the program. In the email (which you see below, in Chinese), there would be a button Register now. We have not found an Internet page that allows you to directly access the program unless invited.
At this point the application will be forwarded to the development team, and if accepted we can proceed. This is where things start to happen nebulae because of the translation. From what you read in the email, you will be able to “download the app AI Treasure Box on the desktop“, but it wouldn’t make much sense to install it on your computer. So you will most likely have to download it to your tablet.
Then you can download the game package, unzip it using the button Open the file and copy the corresponding folder to the tablet (which the tool should do, in the specified directory).
Below you can see a screenshot of the app, which indicates how the default directory containing the game on your device will be named /WinPlayMobile.
The games listed below as available are Assassins Creed Revelations, tomb Raider And Counter-Strike 1.6.
To add the game in theory you should just click on Add gameselect the file exe and click on He confirms. At the bottom there is a button Scan the filewhich we are not sure what it is for (perhaps to find the exe file?).
In any case the app 3A Game Virtual Machine it should indicate step by step what to do and you just need to follow the instructions on the screen. Once ready, you can connect the keyboard and controller to the tablet and start playing.
We repeat, the functioning of the tool is not very clear, and considering that Xiaomi Pad 6s Pro It is not equipped with an SD card, we imagine that it could be problematic to install important games, especially on the 256 GB model (but even the 512 GB one will fill up quickly). In any case, the initiative is certainly interesting and we can’t wait to find out how it works.
