DJI is preparing an interesting innovation in the sector: a foldable drone that could stand out for its performance and portability. In the last few hours the first images of DJI Flipthe new drone folding in the leading company in this sector.
In the smartphone world we have now become accustomed to the concept of foldables (here are the best foldables of the moment). DJI Flip will bring the foldable concept to drones too, with a different sense clearly.
The images you find in gallery below they correspond to the first renders leaked publicly, shared by the reliable leaker Igor Bogdanovby DJI Flip. As you can see from the graphics, it is a drone that has the peculiarity of being able to fold so reduce very significantly its dimensions.
The drone has a central body and four helices arranged at the corners of an imaginary perimeter square. And it seems that together with DJI Flip it will also arrive Cellular Dongle 2. This is the new model of the module capable of carrying the mobile connectivity about the manufacturer’s drones.

Returning to the foldable drone, the rumors that have emerged so far indicate that the battery compartment will be able to recharge in 45 minutes with a 65W output. With a single charge they should be insured approx 31 minute flight.
Finally, too Jesper Ellens adds irons to the fire, indicating that DJI Flip has been registered as a product among FPV modelsas well as releasing the short video you see below with the drone portrayed in closed configuration.
