If you want to test yours courageand your ability to brave vertigo, the place you should go is probably the Shiniuzhai National Park in China. There you would in fact find the bridge known as Haohan Qiaowhose name means (not surprisingly) “Brave Men’s Bridge”.
The suspension bridgewhich stands on a precipice of 180 meters, is in fact composed of a surface made of glassand crossing its 300 meters of length you will really have the feeling of walking in space.

The bridge was initially made of wood, but when park managers added a glass section last year, tourists appreciated the idea so much that they pushed for a complete renovation of the structure.
The work was followed by 11 engineers, who ensured its safety by replacing the wooden planks with sturdy glass panels from thickness of 24 millimetersto which additional steel tie rods were also added.
Yane Guhongone of the engineers involved in the project, said: “No matter how much tourists jump on the bridge, it will have no problems. Furthermore, the steel structure is incredibly dense, so that even if the glass were to break, you still wouldn’t be able to fall”.
Provided, of course, that you have the courage to cross it.
